SCR Envelopes goes full service with CTP
We're delighted to announce the launch of a brand new, technologically advanced digital repro department to complement our specialist printing operation in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The new system boasts the latest CTP technology, which will mean peace of mind and savings in cost and time for our clients.
Repro Manager, Michael Parrish explains: "SCR has always been serious about investing in customer service. By using CTP, we can work from a client's initial envelope designs and take them through artwork and repro and a faster proofing stage to create an envelope that could not only cost less to produce, but also could attract business discounts from the Royal Mail. Clients know that we work towards 'right first time every time'. And for us that's always meant accurate artwork created by people experienced in working within the all-important Royal Mail criteria, and now state of the art CTP repro services. By controlling the whole process, we can ensure that colour and print will be of the highest standards possible."
The new department is fully compatible with our current complement of specialist overprint machines and includes the latest Prinergy Evo 4 page make-up system, Magnus 400 Quantum Platesetter and the latest Mac Intel with CS3 software technology.
