SCR takes a shine to matt-coated envelopes
Matt-marketing - Leeds-based SCR Envelope Solutions has become the first company in the UK to have two Halm Envelope Master EM5000 machines.
The Halm, which uses an integrated UV drier, can overprint four-back-one jobs in one pass and print onto matt-coated envelopes, something which previously would have only been possible using a flat-sheet conversion process.
Marketing manager Karen Forsyth (pictured) said she would communicate the machines' capabilities "using a series of vibrant matt-coated envelope designs" and through sponsorship of Yorkshire's print and packaging buyers' conference Showcase 2006.
